Weekday in Ordinary Time
Ordinary Time · Feria
Ordinary Time is not empty time. It is the long, ordered growth of the Christian life.
Faithful Explainer
New Moon
What is happening?
The moon sits between the earth and the sun, so the side facing us is unlit. The sky is at its darkest for the month.
See it through faith
A dark sky is simply the moon turned away from the sun's light — it carries no power over your life or future. It can still be a plain reminder that we have no light of our own to give, only light received.

Sit With This
Psalm 104:19
He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting. You make darkness, and it is night, when all the animals of the forest come creeping out.
