Lord, before I sleep, let me look back over this day with you.
I give thanks for what was given. I ask light to see the day as you saw it. I notice where I received grace, and where I turned from it. I ask pardon for what was unkind, hurried, or unloving. I ask for your help to begin again tomorrow.
Into your hands, Lord, I commend my spirit.
